There were at least 5 different shapes used between 1971 and 1977 (shown above). 1971 & 1972 (preserial number and large pickup rings) had pickguards that sat above the pickup rings. 1973 & 1974 (pre serial number and large pick up rings) had pickguards that sat around the rings. 1975 & 1976 (serial numbers and smaller pickup rings), early 1977 (up to around September 1977) and 1977 transitional (Fancy tailpiece). Available in Three ply B/W/B, W/B/W or single ply Cream. These also fit Greco and other guitars made by Fujigen during the same period.
